Casey Anthony ! How they will play to avoid death penalty

Understanding the prosecution’s charges fully in a murder case like that of Casey Anthony helps online readers, courtroom spectators and television audiences understand what the State and the defense will be attempting during a murder trial. This is the crux of the courtroom drama now unfolding in a Florida courtroom regarding the disappearance and death in 2008 of 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony and her mother's attorney's shocking revelation yesterday: Caylee died from a drowning.
Casey Anthony is facing four charges against her in her murder trial involving her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony: aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child, first degree murder and providing false information to law enforcement.
According to Reuters, the defense is already disagreeing with the prosecutor’s take on the death of Caylee, making the claim that Caylee Anthony drowned in a swimming pool at the home shared by Caylee, her mother Casey and Casey’s parents.
Prosecutors often deal with attempts by defense attorneys to undermine their case against a suspect in a murder and to throw a wrench in the cause by contesting the cause of death put forth in trials. So Casey Anthony's attorney is just following the dance between the defense and the prosecutor in this regard. Prosecutors like those in the Anthony case, know all too well that a jury can be swayed at times to rule against them on a first degree murder charge, too, when the jury is not convinced of the State’s case “beyond a reasonable doubt.” That requires a dance of sorts from them, too.
Because they don't want to leave the victim without justice and a potential murderer free to commit future crimes, prosectuors attempt to stack the deck in the victim’s favor -- legally. They tack on every charge they can, as they did in the Anthony case.
In this case, Casey Anthony's defense lawyer Jose Baez is attacking the first degree murder charge right out of the starting gate in the courtroom, claiming Anthony’s daughter’s death was an accident.
“It was an accident that snowballed,” Jose Baez told the court jurors on Tuesday.
This illustrates perfectly why prosecutors make a habit of “throwing the book” at a defendant in legalese: they need to provide jurors with more options than one to choose from should they forgo the first degree murder charge.
In Casey Anthony’s case, the prosecution and police provided the jurors with four possible charges to choose from, but the jury isn’t limited in choosing only one.
Some jurors might believe in a person’s guilt, such as Anthonys, but have an issue with giving them the sentence likely to be imposed in a first degree murder conviction. Hence, prosecutors need to offer another conviction option with a lesser sentence possibility, such as the aggravated manslaughter of a child charge which Casey Anthony was also given -- or the aggravated child abuse charge she also received.
The death penalty is a potential sentence consequence in this case, as well, so that can lead some jurors to potentially rule against a verdict of first degree in the Casey Anthony murder trial if they have a prejudice in that regard, which makes the additional charges that much more important in this case, as they may be the only justice served, potentially.
Prosecutors, like those in the Casey Anthony case in Florida, also have a duty to the public to prosecute a defendant for all crimes committed by the individual in one fell swoop, if possible, as court cases put forth by the state cost taxpayer dollars.
In addition to murder, Casey Anthony has also essentially been accused of wasting taxpayer funds by giving false information in her daughter’s missing person investigation. Anthony has been charged with impeding the ability of law enforcement in finding her daughter through her many differing tales of Caylee’s whereabouts, which her attorney has now stated it was a cover-up by Casey.
Wasting taxpayer money, lying to law enforcement officers and hiding the fact that a child in your care (especially your own) has disappeared are all issues for the court to face regarding any defendant, including Casey Anthony. And these serious issues warrant legal charges almost as much as the murder charges she faces – and should factor into the overall murder case, too. And they do.
Law enforcement already knew Casey Anthony was misleading them and playing a cover-up game, which is why she was charged with that crime. Her attorney’s acknowledgement of that fact is an effort, however, to steer his client away from a first degree murder conviction.
Casey Anthony’s criminal defense attorney Jose Baez is now seeking to sell the jury on the possibility the death of 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony was an accident instead of a murder, so they can charge Casey with child abuse or child manslaughter, giving her a lesser sentence for the death of her daughter. Baez thinks the jury will be swayed by a drowning confession.
Baez knows the evidence in the case and the actions of his client preclude a not guilty verdict, potentially, so he is seeking the next best thing: a lesser conviction and sentence.
But will the jury buy it?
Baez will use every opportunity to muddy the water with misdirection in this case, most likely, in order to get a not guilty verdict for his client or less time for her crime. He is starting with allegations of sexual abuse between Casey and her own father when she was a child years ago.
But Baez acknowledged already that Casey Anthony knew all along what had happened to her daughter, and she didn’t share that information when police first began to question her. That, coupled with all the lies and deception Anthony put forth during the police investigation and hunt for her daughter, along with how her daughter was found, will be the whole package the prosecutors uses to seek justice for Caylee in this case, giving jurors four different ways to convict or acquit the defendant Casey Anthony.

Caylee Marie Anthony!

Hot rumors are spreading like wild fires that Casey Anthony’s defense team are planning on trying to pin the murder of two year old Caylee Marie Anthony on the child’s grandfather, George Anthony.
Word is that this speculation comes from the list of witnesses that the defense plans on calling which includes a woman who had a run-in with George Anthony in September while people were protesting in front of Anthony’s home before Caylee’s remains were found.
They also want to call as a witness a psychologist post-traumatic stress disorder. They want the witness to rebut Judge Perry’s claim that Casey Anthony lies to police and family to reveal a “consciousness of guilt” about her.
George Anthony’s attorney says normally he doesn’t address such outburst from the media but he felt this one needed to be addressed. Attorney Mark Lippman issued a statement saying, “George Anthony had nothing to do with the death of Caylee Marie Anthony. He has been investigated, deposed, examined, and cross examined by both the prosecution and the defense and neither the defense team nor the state of Florida have maintained that he is at fault in any way.”
Lip[pman does admit though that the defense could still use the theory that his client killed Caylee during their trial. “If there is a reasonable scenario that could cater to how the circumstances then turned out later, certainly you present it, it’s absolutely necessary if you’re going to represent your client zealously,” said Lippman.
The attorney claims he met with Casey Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez and Casey’s mother, Cindy but didn’t reveal what they talked about during the meeting. Is Cindy Anthony working with Baez to try and shift the blame onto George? Would she go that far to save her daughter? God, I do hope she wouldn’t throw her own husband under the bus just so Casey can walk free.
I am by far the last person to be a fan of the Anthony’s but I would never buy it that George did this to this baby. Out of the whole family his love for Caylee seemed to be more genuine than the others. He was the only one at first that was trying to tell the truth about what happened. It seems as though perhaps someone got to him that made him change his mind after he testified at the grand jury.
As for Casey Anthony’s claims that her father had molested her, well why should anyone believe her now? Why has she come out with this accusation now? She had lots of time to accuse him of molesting her before this. Casey lies about anything and everything that benefits her at the time. She has proved that to everyone. I don’t for one minute believe he did that to her.
Another question is, would Cindy Anthony stand by Casey and agree that George killed Caylee? Would she actually sink that low? Personally it wouldn’t surprise me. What would surprise me though is if anyone else would actually think he was the guilty one. For one thing, if they thought he was guilty, we all know Casey would not have sat in jail for almost 2 ½ years covering for him, taking the heat for it. She is too selfish thinking about herself and only herself.
I do hope that they don’t try this route with the case. If they do it could very well pushed George over the edge and he might actually really try taking his own life. After all didn’t he once say he would give his life for his daughter before? Let’s hope he doesn’t actually do it because of this.
I pray that they find the right person that is guilty here and make her pay. I hope she never sees the light of day again.
Justice for Caylee Marie Anthony!

Abuse is Child Abuse

Every day families are separated and children are sent to live with complete strangers in our governments foster care system.  This is largely due to inadequately written laws that judges follow when making their orders on the temporary and permanent placement of America’s children.   It is a fact that huge profits are made off of America’s children when are separated from their biological families.  All paid for by you, the taxpayer.  No one makes a dime when a child is happy and living with biological families.

We THE PEOPLE,
by virtue of our united efforts in protest, will prove to our government by our vast numbers of protesters nation wide, that we will not wait one more year for reformation of the family courts, children’s services and the foster care system that is long overdue.

We will not continue to allow the separation and destruction of our American families for profit.   Reformation will verifiably save trillions of our hard earned tax dollars and assist the government deficit simultaneously.   We have the solution that is a win-win for America’s children, families and the government budget.

JUSTICE FOR LORENZO

An eight years old boy Lorenzo Gonzalez was taken to a medical clinic on Mar 9, 2010 around 5:30 am, his mom Ana Cacho, claimed he fell off the bed he was sharing with his 5 years old sister, and fractured his nose. He later died at 6:00 am. Autopsy revealed, he had a fracture skull around one of his temples, brain hemorrhage, laceration on his eyebrow (same side of the temple fractured), and a fracture nose which was puncture (murder weapon unknown). She claimed to have checked the kids at 2:00 am and they were ok, but was awaken by her 5 years old daughter claiming her son Lorenzo was bleeding profusely at 4:00 am, but the mother did not dial 9-1-1, nor did she take Lorenzo to the hospital right away. Ana Cacho waited until 5:30 am to transport her son to a medical clinic located 5 minutes away from her home. Once he died, she arranged to have his body cremated, a process the boy's father pleaded to cease through court order and succeeded.

The boy's mother, who is currently going through a nasty divorce from the children father, claimed she was alone in her upscale neighborhood home with her 3 children ages 13, 8 and 5 years of age. After much investigation, the authorities later found she was in fact in the company of 2 adult males until past midnight hours. The crime scene was not secure by authorities until a week later, but a crack pipe was found and an empty crack capsule along with it once the police entered the home to investigate. It is said by the media that the crime scene has been altered and therefore there is no way to find who, what, how Lorenzo was murdered. The mother is not cooperating with authorities because her lawyers advised her that she's entitled to remain silence and not incriminate herself. Ana Cacho have recruited the help of 2 lawyers and a top criminalist, ex Secretary of Justice Antonio R. Sagardia. Although she has not been charged with any crime, she is considered a suspect along with the 2 adult males present at the home the night of the murder.

Custody of the other two children was removed, not until 3 weeks after this cruel murder, due to great pressure we (this group on facebook) ensued on the government, and Child Protective Services.

The FBI is currently helping local authorities solve this crime because one of the adult males suspects who is, in fact, a federal agent exchanged text messages with Ana Cacho while her son was bleeding to death on his bed.

Ana Cacho comes from a wealthy family in Puerto Rico who have lots of political and judicial influences. One year

has passed since Lorenzo Gonzalez passing and no one have been charged with this cruel murder which happened in his own home. A paramedic present when Ana Cacho brought her son to the medical clinic, claimed he knew from the start that the boy's injuries were not consistent with a fall, because Lorenzo's face was destroyed and he was bleeding profusely. Also, the doctor who saw the boy, failed to contact Child Protective Services, and also failed to follow child abuse protocol.

Signs of a cover up are there and no one is talking, except for us the people in this facebook group Justice for Lorenzo Gonzalez, and we want justice for this innocent 8 years old boy.
