LA HOMOFOBIA
Las fobias son miedos irracionales que pueden afectar de varias maneras a gente perfectamente saludable. Hay a quienes les aterra entrar en un elevador, y quienes sudan frió con solo pensar en abordar un avión . Cualquier fobia puede ser debilitante.

La homofobia es un miedo intenso y sin razón a los homosexuales, y constituye una tragedia doble. Aquellos de nosotros que tememos u odiamos a los homosexuales solemos pensar que no conocemos a ninguno, aun cuando puede haber cierto numero de personas con quienes socializamos, trabajamos o tal vez hasta convivimos, que son gay o lesbianas. Al mismo tiempo, muchos homosexuales se pasan la vida escondidos “en el closet”, temiendo que la homofobia destruya sus relaciones familiares, su amor propio o hasta sus mismas vidas. Por desgracia, la gente homofóbica se la pasa perpetuando ciegamente ideas falsas sobre los homosexuales que pueden llegar a ser muy hirientes.

Algunos pueden necesitar ayuda profesional para quitarse el miedo a los homosexuales, así como algunos la necesitan para curarse el miedo a las alturas o a los elevadores; pero para casi todos nosotros basta el deseo de examinar nuestros miedos para aliviarlos. El miedo nace de los mitos y creencias de la ignorancia al tema, y se les puede perder el miedo a los homosexuales si comenzamos a entender los mitos que rodean a la homosexualidad.

HOMOFOBIA INTERIORIZADA
Es aquella que se manifiesta a través de las personas que son de una orientación sexual diferente a la heterosexual y que no han aceptado su propia orientación sexual. Lo que provoca temor, rechazo y miedo hacia personas que están en igualdad y condición.

EJEMPLOS

1-Algunos homosexuales que exhiben comportamientos masculinos (o de closet), no aprecian la presencia de personas que evidencian su homosexualidad (que tengan rasgos femeninos, o se comporten de manera femenina)
2-Algunos homosexuales, pese a tener relaciones sexuales con otros hombres en el rol femenino, lo niegan ya que necesitan mantener su estatus de “macho” en una relación de pareja
3-Algunos tienen temor de que la familia los vaya a rechazar
4-Otros piensan que no van a conseguir trabajo o que perderán su trabajo
5-Otros tienen miedo que los rechazen en las instituciones educativas
6-No pueden saludar o hablar públicamente con otro homosexual (independientemente de que exhiba un comportamiento femenino o no), porque están pendientes del "que dirá la gente".
7-Algunos homosexuales insultan o participan de bromas pesadas hacia otros homosexuales, para mantener una imagen diferente ante su familia y amistades


HOMOFOBIA EXTERIORIZADA
Es aquella que se manifiesta a través de las personas que tienen temor hacia personas homosexuales creyendo que el hablar o hacer amistad con una persona homosexual se les va a contagiar (como que si se tratase de una enfermedad), y en algunos casos su cultura machista no les permite tolerar la presencia de otra persona que atenta potencialmente contra su masculinidad.

JUSTICE FOR LORENZO

An eight years old boy Lorenzo Gonzalez was taken to a medical clinic on Mar 9, 2010 around 5:30 am, his mom Ana Cacho, claimed he fell off the bed he was sharing with his 5 years old sister, and fractured his nose. He later died at 6:00 am. Autopsy revealed, he had a fracture skull around one of his temples, brain hemorrhage, laceration on his eyebrow (same side of the temple fractured), and a fracture nose which was puncture (murder weapon unknown). She claimed to have checked the kids at 2:00 am and they were ok, but was awaken by her 5 years old daughter claiming her son Lorenzo was bleeding profusely at 4:00 am, but the mother did not dial 9-1-1, nor did she take Lorenzo to the hospital right away. Ana Cacho waited until 5:30 am to transport her son to a medical clinic located 5 minutes away from her home. Once he died, she arranged to have his body cremated, a process the boy's father pleaded to cease through court order and succeeded.

The boy's mother, who is currently going through a nasty divorce from the children father, claimed she was alone in her upscale neighborhood home with her 3 children ages 13, 8 and 5 years of age. After much investigation, the authorities later found she was in fact in the company of 2 adult males until past midnight hours. The crime scene was not secure by authorities until a week later, but a crack pipe was found and an empty crack capsule along with it once the police entered the home to investigate. It is said by the media that the crime scene has been altered and therefore there is no way to find who, what, how Lorenzo was murdered. The mother is not cooperating with authorities because her lawyers advised her that she's entitled to remain silence and not incriminate herself. Ana Cacho have recruited the help of 2 lawyers and a top criminalist, ex Secretary of Justice Antonio R. Sagardia. Although she has not been charged with any crime, she is considered a suspect along with the 2 adult males present at the home the night of the murder.

Custody of the other two children was removed, not until 3 weeks after this cruel murder, due to great pressure we (this group on facebook) ensued on the government, and Child Protective Services.

The FBI is currently helping local authorities solve this crime because one of the adult males suspects who is, in fact, a federal agent exchanged text messages with Ana Cacho while her son was bleeding to death on his bed.

Ana Cacho comes from a wealthy family in Puerto Rico who have lots of political and judicial influences.One year

has passed since Lorenzo Gonzalez passing and no one have been charged with this cruel murder which happened in his own home. A paramedic present when Ana Cacho brought her son to the medical clinic, claimed he knew from the start that the boy's injuries were not consistent with a fall, because Lorenzo's face was destroyed and he was bleeding profusely. Also, the doctor who saw the boy, failed to contact Child Protective Services, and also failed to follow child abuse protocol.

Signs of a cover up are there and no one is talking, except for us the people in this facebook group Justice for Lorenzo Gonzalez, and we want justice for this innocent 8 years old boy.

Dos especialistas consideran muy dañino el presunto cuadro de presión sicológica

LAS CONDUCTAS en las que supuestamente incurrieron Ana Cacho y su madre, Yvette González, hacia las dos hermanas del asesinado Lorenzo podrían a largo plazo provocar serios efectos en la conducta y la psiquis adulta de las niñas, por lo que deben ser tratadas por profesionales del comportamiento lo antes posible.

Así opinaron ayer un psiquiatra y una psicóloga ante la resolución revelada el jueves, en la que se les imputa a Cacho y a González haber intentado evitar que las niñas revelaran algún detalle sobre las circunstancias en que falleció su hermano Lorenzo.

El jueves, y tomando en cuenta esa resolución, la jueza Sonia del Toro, de la sala de Familia y Menores del Tribunal de Primera Instancia de Bayamón, otorgó la custodia permanente de las hermanas de Lorenzo, de 6 y 14 años, a su padre, Ahmed Alí González.

La resolución incluye testimonios de varios profesionales del comportamiento, entre ellos dos trabajadoras sociales y una psicóloga, que establecen que las niñas estaban “profundamente deprimidas” y que la mayor, por ejemplo, estaba perdiendo el cabello y que se mostraba “triste, retraída, callada y en ocasiones alegre”.

La menor, por su parte, fue descrita como “triste, retraída, molesta, llorosa, con pesadillas, deseo frecuente de orinar y un apetito excesivo”.

El psiquiatra Arnaldo Cruz explicó que los niños cuando se deprimen muestran síntomas distintos a los de los adultos. Agregó que hay cambios de conducta, casi siempre bajan las notas y hay variaciones en el estado de ánimo.

“Y como el niño no tiene recursos para manejar el asunto, lo somatiza mostrando condiciones como asma, dolor de estómago, alergias de la piel, entre otras. En el caso particular donde ha habido la muerte de un hermano, hay un trauma enorme, probablemente su sistema emocional está recargado y no puede canalizarlo, por lo que las presiones vienen a agravar la situación”, indicó.

Explicó que las presiones en las que supuestamente incurrieron Cacho y González son conocidas como ‘alianzas’ y suelen ser dañinas en niños, porque pueden crear sentimientos encontrados en una situación de pérdida sin ellos tener la madurez para manejarlos.

Igual crea inseguridad, ya que las niñas pueden interpretar que no fueron capaces de proteger a su hermano.

“Esa es una herida narcicística, en la que se hiere su autoestima, su dignidad, y se pueden sentir mal porque murió su hermanito o no pudieron evitar que su familia se separara”, dijo Cruz. “Los adultos deben protegerlos haciéndoles entender que no son culpables y que no tuvieron nada que ver, así como darles un espacio de esperanza”.

Para la sicóloga escolar Frances Boulon, ante la situación “sumamente penosa” de esta familia, lo primordial es asegurarse de que las niñas sean atendidas por profesionales y que sientan la certeza de que van a contar con diferentes adultos responsables que las van a apoyar en lo que ellas necesiten para superar la situación.

Subrayó que es importante que a las hermanas no se les exija tomar decisiones ni se les exponga a los detalles públicos, más allá de su capacidad para comprender y procesar la situación.

“En todas las familias hay momentos en que los adultos se pueden equivocar. La labor de esos profesionales debe ser facilitar que las niñas superen los eventos y que preserven la noción de que son queridas, amadas, aun cuando sus padres se hayan equivocado, y que deben mirar al futuro con optimismo”, dijo Boulon, ex presidenta de la Asociación de Psicología de Puerto Rico.

A su parecer, debe existir entre las personas legalmente autorizadas una que sea mediadora y se asegure de que las niñas obtienen la ayuda necesaria. Además, debe evitar que estas se vean más involucradas en el foro público.
